With the Remotecare Assist Program, our Services Are Now More Accessible Than Ever Before...

Do you have a few employees located in another city , who have been impacted
by the loss of a coworker, or some other traumatic workplace incident?
Do you have operations in global hot zones or in other environmentally harsh locations, to which travel may not be feasible?
Do you have employees who travel extensively, who are not able to participate in consultative services because of their work schedules?
Are you a computer-savy individual, who, for one of many possible reasons, is unable to access services in person?
Our Remotecare Assist Program, a joint project between Cohen & Associates and The Workplace Trauma Center is designed for circumstances such as the ones listed above. All of our services can be delivered via this technology, including individual consultations, crisis support, training and other organizational development services.
Here are the answers to some of the common questions we receive about this Program:
What equipment is needed to utilize this service?
Technically, all that is needed is a constant, high-speed internet connection, a web cam and headphones or telephone. We will be happy to make equipment recommendations, if needed, and provide you with assistance with your computer configuration.
What level of internet security is provided with Remotecare Assist?
Our web video meeting room utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v3) with 128-bit encryption. Encryption provides a layer of security for data and voice functions.
Can this service be utilized to supplement on-site services?
Yes. Remotecare Assist can be utilized alone or to supplement services that we have provided on-site. Follow-up can reinforce the adjustments and changes that have been made during face-to-face consultations, thereby further insuring long term gain.
In what situations is the Remotecare Assist Program not a recommended service option?
We do not recommend this Program for the delivery of any of our services (whether it be training, consultation or crisis support), with individuals or employees who are severely traumatized or in personal crisis. We recommend that these individuals seek face-to-face evaluation and supportive care in their immediate geographic location or be transported home.
Can I try out the service before utilizing it for services?
Absolutely! Not only do we recommend this, but we prefer a "testing" session, during which we make sure that we can establish a clear video and audio connection and that you have time to familiarize yourself with functions of the room.
